Whiton Branch Library, 100 North Main Street, Manchester, CT 06042, 860-643-6892 Open Monday-Thursday 10 a.m. - 8:30 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Closed Saturdays and Sundays. For the holiday of Thanksgiving Day, the library will close at 5 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 25 and will be closed all day Thursday Nov. 26. THE LIBRARY IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FOR THE LENDING OF BOOKS AND MATERIALS. MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO BE WORN INSIDE THE BUILDINGS. NO RESTROOMS ARE AVAILABLE PLUS THERE ARE NO CHAIRS AVAILABLE - NO SITTING. INTERNET-USE COMPUTERS CAN BE USED FOR VERY SHORT SESSIONS. ALL BOOKS AVAILABLE FOR BORROWING WILL ALREADY HAVE BEEN QUARANTINED FOR WELL OVER 72 HOURS. IF EITHER LIBRARY BUILDING GETS CROWDED, LIMITS WILL BE ENFORCED ON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF PEOPLE ALLOWED INSIDE AT THE SAME TIME.
